The next task is the addition of new plant species into the database stored in the remote server by the Data Administrator via password protected access. registration of personal details of the user, providing a new tool to erase the previous values given by the user, providing a continuation tool for identification as and when new characters are given by the user, providing interfaces for the precise plant characteristics (using a different color coding for stem, root, leaf, fruit, flower ...), designing interfaces of the users' choise and setting the values, reporting to the user the list of plants according to the selection characters, and finally, mailing comments, suggestions and problems to the administrator... The software was developed in the French Institute of Pondicherry with Java Foundation classes and HTML as front-end, Java Server Page as middleware and MS-Access as back-end.
